PVI Honored in VIX50 Ranking for the Third Consecutive Year
On August 1, 2025, at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company, in collaboration with VietNamNet Newspaper, successfully hosted the Announcement Ceremony of the Top 50 Prestigious and Effective Public Companies (VIX50) in 2025.
Within the framework of the event, the Vietnam CEO Summit 2025 also took place, under the theme: “Digital Branding and the Future of Vietnam’s National Brand.”
2025 marks an important milestone – the fifth consecutive year that the VIX50 ranking has been announced by Vietnam Report to honor the most outstanding public companies on Vietnam's stock market.
According to Vietnam Report, the companies featured in the VIX50 ranking are not only exemplary in governance and operations but are also considered key market drivers amidst the ongoing integration and transformational shifts in the economy.
The VIX50 ranking is based on two main criteria:
Financial strength, quantified from audited financial statements
Media reputation, measured through the Media Coding method and qualitative analysis by industry experts.
Other reference indicators include growth potential, ability to maintain competitive advantage, corporate governance quality, and industry position – providing a comprehensive evaluation of a company’s capacity in an increasingly competitive environment.
PVI is proud to be recognized in this prestigious ranking for the third consecutive year.
As of the first half of 2025, the entire PVI system exceeded its business targets in terms of consolidated total revenue and pre-tax profit, achieving 136% and 169% of the planned figures, respectively.
Both revenue and profit recorded strong year-over-year growth of 31.8% and 21.6%, respectively. The primary growth driver came from PVI’s insurance business activities, especially from PVI Insurance Corporation.
Consolidated revenue for the first six months reached VND 15,351 billion, up 31.8% YoY, fulfilling 71.61% of the full-year plan.
Estimated consolidated pre-tax profit reached VND 953 billion, up 21.6% YoY, completing 87.39% of the full-year plan.
Annualized consolidated ROE reached 18.3%, significantly higher than the planned 11.3%.
